Pool Manager/Lead Swim Coach

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as 10-Under Coach and Sr. 1 Development Coach
• Develop and Implement Training for 10-Under group and Developmental Sr. Group.
• Serve as Facility Manager for pool with a Tent structure. 
  • Maintain water quality
  • Maintain inspection requirements
  • Make small repairs
  • Do daily CPO checks
  • Does not involve hiring or managing facility staff
• Provide a positive learning environment for swimmers with structured instruction and fun.
• Supervise assistant coaches  
• Communicate with parents by providing a once/week update and return calls and emails within 24 hours
• Work with Head coach to develop practice schedule.
• Coach at Swim meets usually 1-2/month
• Maintain USA Swimming certifications and follow all Safe Sport regulations and guidelines
• Recruit swimmers from area summer league by conducting clinics and visiting at dual meets

Qualifications

• Previous swimming experience
• 2-4 years coaching experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with other coaches
• CPO license
• Previous pool maintenance experience

Compensation/ Benefits

• Competitive salary based on experience $42,000-$50,000.
