Revolution is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Age Group Swim Coach to support our swimmers ages 8–13. This role focuses on providing high-quality technique instruction, consistent support of fellow coaches, athletes, and families, fostering a positive team environment, and coaching at swim meets.
On-deck coaching commitment typically ranges from 10-20 hours per week. Typical schedule includes 4-5 evenings per week and Sunday mornings with one to two meets on weekends per month.
· Provide consistent, quality instruction during assigned workouts.
· Teach proper stroke mechanics, starts, and turns.
· Motivate and mentor swimmers using positive coaching techniques.
· Support implementation of practice plans created by the Head Age Group Coach.
· Maintain a safe, structured, and encouraging environment.
· Supervise swimmers effectively during practices and meets.
· Communicate clearly with swimmers, parents, and staff.
· Attend swim meets and assist with swimmer preparation and supervision.
· Love of the sport of swimming.
· USA Swimming Coach Certification or ability to obtain promptly.
· Lifeguard certification or equivalent.
· Reliable transportation to Bentley University.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Enthusiasm for working with youth athletes.
· Competitive swimming background (college swimming preferred but not required).
· Experience coaching similar ages or teaching small groups of children.
· Coaching athletes at competitive swim meets.
