The City of Jefferson Parks & Recreation Department is seeking an experienced aquatics professional to lead the development and operation of our year-round competitive swim club and summer recreational swim team. This full-time role oversees coaching, recruitment, athlete development, meet management, staff supervision, and community engagement, while also supporting general day-to-day natatorium operations and administrative tasks. Qualified candidates should demonstrate strong leadership, competitive swimming expertise, and organizational skills, with a commitment to safety, program excellence, and positive youth development.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Kinesiology, Sport Science, Education, or related field or an equivalent relevant professional experience. Prior experience as a Manager/Head Swim Coach or 2 years as an Assistant Coach with leadership responsibilities. Demonstrated experience in swim meet organization and team management. Certifications (or willingness to obtain upon hire): USA Swimming Coaching Certification(s), Lifeguard Certification, CPR/AED & First Aid, and Certified Pool Operator (CPO).
