Position Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Competitive Aquatics, the Head Swim Team Coach is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the YSF swim team at their assigned site. This includes coaching, program development, communication, and administrative support. The Head Swim Team Coach plays a key role in fostering a positive team culture, supporting swimmers’ development, and contributing to the overall success of the Competitive Aquatics program. This position may also include responsibilities related to Masters Swimming depending on site needs. Job Description: As an Associate Head Coach of Thunder, you’ll be responsible for the development, implementation, support and advancement of all swim group athletes which includes their short- and long-term goals.  JOB REQUIREMENTS: 1.     The successful candidate must have a background in senior level coaching and development of swimmers. 2.     Current USA Swimming background check, CPR, First Aid, and Safety Training for Swimming Coaches certifications are required. College degree preferred. 3.     Dryland training experience. 4.     ASCA certification level 2 or higher is desired. 5.     Workouts run in the evenings, during school, (4-7:30pm), Saturdays (7-9am) and occasional mornings.
