Assistant Coaches will help implement daily practices, teach foundational swimming skills, support swimmer development, and contribute to a positive, athlete-centered team environment. Ideal candidates are enthusiastic teachers who enjoy working with young athletes and value long-term swimmer development, technical progression, and team culture. JRSSC is currently looking for Swim Instructors.  The Swim Instructor teaches swim lessons to members and guests of the Jeff Rouse Swim and Sport Center. The Lifeguard maintains a safe swim environment by enforcing all rules and regulations of the pool as well as preventing and responding to all emergencies in the Jeff Rouse Swim and Sport Center. The Jeff Rouse Swim & Sport Center is currently accepting applications for Aquatics Director. The Aquatics Director is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and supervision of the Jeff Rouse Swim and Sport Center Aquatic Department, directly managing the aquatic staff (interview, hire, train, evaluate) and aquatic programs with the continual goal of better usage of the pool and meeting the needs of the community. The Aquatics Director will have the ability to teach or substitute coach swim teams, youth swim lessons or lifeguarding as needed. The Aquatics Director will also maintain all pool operations and oversee all equipment and maintenance to ensure proper pool functioning.
