Job Description
HVA Current is seeking energetic and motivated Assistant Coaches to support our developmental and age group programs in Hampton, Virginia. Assistant Coaches will help implement daily practices, teach foundational swimming skills, support swimmer development, and contribute to a positive, athlete-centered team environment.
Ideal candidates are enthusiastic teachers who enjoy working with young athletes and value long-term swimmer development, technical progression, and team culture. Responsibilities may include assisting with practices, swimmer evaluation and placement, meet support, parent communication, and helping foster confidence, work ethic, and a love for the sport.
Part-time positions available. Competitive hourly pay based on experience and certifications. USA Swimming certification (or ability to obtain prior to coaching) required.
