Aquatic Director

Job Description

Aquatic Director will report to the Director of Pool & Tennis and will manage the Club’s swimming program and staff in that area. Priorities of the position include maintaining the Club’s traditions while stimulating greater interest and participation in the Club’s Pool  activities.  Swim instruction can also be a part of the position.

 Key areas of responsibility include:

 

  • Providing a high-level of service to members and their guests.

  • Create and assist in overseeing a growing and stronger youth program.

  • Interpreting and enforcing Club Guest Policies and Rules.

  • Coordinate with DOPT and help oversee regularly scheduled Member events and tournaments 

  • Oversee daily operations and activity in the Pool & Tennis area.

  • Coordinating and maintaining a strong relationship with other staff members.

  • Coordinating with the DOPT for purchase and sales of snack shack and other Pool/Tennis merchandise.

  • Assist the DOPT in the preparation of the Club’s calendar of events.

  • Assist in maintaining equipment and upkeep of the grounds and facilities.



Experience/Qualifications 

  • LifeGuard & CPR Certified

  • Experience in all areas of responsibility listed above  

  • Strong interpersonal skills 

  • Ability to interact with the membership and community

 

Compensation and Benefits 

Scheduled work from Late May to mid September, maximum 6 days/week in prime season, but flexible on starting time

Swim Instruction:  Will retain 85% of all teaching income.  

Will participate in Causeway Club Gratuity Fund distribution

Causeway Club will pay to maintain appropriate certifications

Simple IRA Matching Program of max 3%

Pay depends upon experience.
