PSL is seeking enthusiastic individuals to work with their age group and pre-competitive members as soon as possible. Multiple positions are available, including, but not limited to: salaried lead coach, part-time lead coach, part-time assistant coach and seasonal (Summer) coach. Pacifica Sea Lions Aquatic Club became a private, volunteer board-owned organization in 2021. Practices are held year-round at an indoor, 25-yard, 10-lane pool in Pacifica off Hwy 1. Our facility is easily accessible from all the Northern Peninsula and from San Francisco. PSL’s membership is made up of around 100 age & senior swimmers and 90 pre-competitive participants. Responsibilities for age group coach position: The age group coach is responsible for coaching two separate groups of children ages 9-10 & 11-12. Practice times during the school year are from 3:45 pm until 7:30 pm weekdays (Monday through Friday), and from 8:00 am until 11:30 am on Saturdays between the two groups. Arlington Aquatic Club is operated through the local school system.  Our program is in its third year and has topped 160 swimmers and we expect continued growth.  We swim at Arlington ISD's Natatorium across the street from the Dallas Cowboy's AT&T Stadium with an indoor 50 meter pool and separate shallow pool.   We have a position available for a part-time age group coach.  The age group position entails 3-4 evenings per week from 4:00-7:00pm and typically one swim meet per month.  The group coached would be based on the coaching candidates best fit.  Pay Range = $16-22 per hour. The coach will be responsible for writing swim sets, developing and growing the group and attending meets. We have an amazing group of swimmers and parents.
