The City of Calabasas is hiring enthusiastic and dependable individuals for several Part Time Aquatics positions at the Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center. The facility operates year round and offers a welcoming environment where employees can develop valuable leadership, teaching, and customer service skills.

Available Positions

Lifeguard
Monitor pool activities, enforce safety rules, respond to emergencies, provide first aid when needed, and help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all guests.

Head Lifeguard
Provide leadership and direction to aquatics staff, oversee daily pool operations, coordinate staff assignments, support emergency response procedures, and ensure safety standards are consistently followed.

Swim Instructor
Teach swim lessons to participants of different ages and skill levels, demonstrate proper swimming techniques, promote water safety, and create a positive and encouraging learning environment.

Swim Coach
Plan and lead swim practices, help swimmers improve their technique and endurance, provide constructive feedback, and encourage teamwork, confidence, and good sportsmanship.

Ideal Candidates

Candidates should be responsible, dependable, and comfortable working with the public. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. Availability may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
